Explore Sawyer

The little town of Sawyer is located just off I-94 at Exit 12. Walking through the town will take you back to a simpler time. If you are looking for a great restaurant in this area, go no further than Fitgerald's which is located at 5875 Sawyer Rd. You are sure to enjoy a delicious meal and on Thursday nights they feature live Jazz.

A very short drive from Sawyer you will find Warren Dunes State Park. It is located on Red Arrow Highway between the towns of Sawyer and Bridgman. There is nothing quite as exhilarating as climbing and rolling down the huge sand dunes of Warren Dunes State Park. They literally soar as high as 240 feet high, and the view from up there is as spectacular as you might think. This State Park features campgrounds, an immaculate two-mile beach and 1500 acres of woodland and wildlife to lose yourself in.

Another smaller, but beautiful outdoor experience can be found at Warren Woods State Park, located at 12032 Red Arrow Hwy, in Sawyer. Here you will find a half square mile of primeval forest which features hiking paths, a foot bridge over the Galien River and some amazing bird watching.
